The latest modern day comic book hero is none other than Hillary Clinton, who is being profiled in a new political comic, “Political Power: Hillary Clinton.”
The comic is the latest in a series of profiles published by Bluewater Productions which have featured a diverse group of personalities ranging from President Barack Obama to Lady Gaga.
The 32-page unauthorized comic book is not the first time Clinton has been immortalized in a graphic novel. Clinton was also part of Bluewater’s “Female Force” series, which also includes Michelle Obama, Sarah Palin and her predecessor Condoleezza Rice.’ The 2009 Clinton comic sold 20,000 copies, Bluewater said.
The new issue chronicles the events that lead her to become Secretary of State, including her eventual support for Barack Obama’s presidential campaign to the detractors of her nomination to her confirmation.
Jerome Maida, the writer of the Clinton comic calls his portrayal of the former first lady a “fair and realistic” one, but he also makes clear his respect for the Secretary of State.”
“I am writing Hillary Clinton from a perspective of someone who did not admire her at first and throughout the process of research has come to admire and be utterly fascinated by what is a tale that most have not reported on,” he says.
“It’s a fascinating story,” Maida says.

She is a walking disaster, her arrogance is beyond belief in the way she makes statement about the Mid East as if she thinks US runs the region, and obviiously she and Obama are doing a great deal of damage with inappropriate statements. One of the things I find worst about her is the casual 'concern' about Syria; the regime known to be unbelievably brutal and having murdered innocent civilians for weeks, she called Assad a 'reformer' and just yesterday it was reported it was possible for reforms. He and his brother cold bloodedly murder Syrians for doing nothing but voicing dissent, I find it chilling that she reacts so casually to that. By staying with her husband she didn't necessarily gain fame and wealth (she could have walked out on him and taken half of everything and been the tabloid queen). I believe she took her vows more seriously than him and stayed with him through thick and thin.

I am always amused at the people who try so hard to put Hillary down, but it's also a fact that this blind hatred has only made Hillary stronger over the course of her life and career. She is simply not bothered by uninformed haters. If anyone actually took the time to research her work over the past almost four decades they would understand the scope of her accomplishments on behalf of women, children, families and the elderly and not just in the United States but worldwide. Her resume is extensive and I consider her to be one of the most valuable politicians and leaders living today. She is a beautiful person who never holds a grudge against anyone. She picks herself up and keeps on working. I only hope I have her level of energy when I reach her age. I am glad she will only serve one term as Secretary of State because it's an exhausting job and, for the most part, a thankless job as well.
