Ahmadinejad proposes a political experiment

Ahmadinejad proposes a political experiment in response to a question from Fareed Zakaria. Here's a transcript:

Fareed Zakaria: Before the Arab spring, Iran was widely loved in the Arab world. Polls showed that. In the last poll, Iran's standing has dropped to 14% because I think you are seen as supporting Syria as it brutalized its people. You have the longest serving leader in the Middle East now, except for Oman. The Supreme Leader has been there for decades. Iran's standing in the Middle East has dropped. This is by the objective polls. This is not my opinion.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (through translator): I think if you want to put an end then to all dialogue, we should have an experiment - an objective and practical experiment. President Obama or any European leaders, whoever. Those who claim to be the best, they can come with me. We should go together to any country they wish without any security guards, and we join hands and we go to the streets and then we will wait for people. How they react.

There is no need for any polling. There is no need for any media campaign. And we just wait for the people to show, to see their views and their reactions from Japan to Uruguay, from the United States to Indonesia, from Scandinavia to South Africa.  I am ready to do it. President Obama, the German Chancellor, the French president, British prime minister - any of them. Especially in Arab countries. Let's go together.  And they can also set the time and determine the place. We go together and we will see how the people react.

In October 2010 Ahmadinejad paid a visit to Lebanon. Huge crowds gathered to greet him and listened to his speeches. Yet he was heavily guarded! His "mentor" and rival, the supreme leader, Ali Khamenei, had been victim of an assassination in 1981. A bomb hidden inside a tape recorder detonated while he was giving a news conference. He lost the use of his right arm. So I doubt, if Ahmadinejad would dare to go out and walk freely like most of us.

This THUG is counting on his false sense of reality. Who the hell will like to live in a place like IRAN that is completelly corrupted, living under the TYRANNY OF RULERS that shield themselves with a false GOD to empower their wishes with guns. Iran lives under a shallow of darkness where nobody can speak out their true ideas and have to cope with this dictatorship that kills in the name of god like the middle ages or the nazism. Please AHMA"EVIL"NEJAD take some of your fortune out of swiss and far east banks and give it back to your people.

Please shut the hell up. Eventhough I'm against the IR and Ahmadinejad, I will not tolerate an ignorant fool like yourself who quotes a SH.. movie like 300 to slander my beautiful country and its history. Despite everything Iran is still a nice place to live and without its regime it would be even paradise. YOU have never been there, YOU hardly know ANYTHING about Iranians and their history, so please, PLEASE, stfu.

He was elected and won, and his term is over in about 2 years...don't compare him and iran to your stupid arab rulers who rule for over 40 years and still don't want leave.

This guy is no saint, and so are all the other nations claiming to be better than the other. Example the U.S does not join the ICC but will quickly refer to findings from the ICC to be credible. they fear that they have committed crime against humanity in Iraq, Afganistan ... etc the whole goal here is world domination. Unless you have lived in the M.E and in the western countries you will begin to understand that people dont matter, only money and profits at the end of the day. this is something that the Iranian president understands all too well eventhough he is quite radical, but then again is'nt the U.S NATO also radical? the only difference is they are better at selling thier B.S to a population the has been glued to the TV for too long

As long as we send Bush and Obama to Afghanistan at the same time ;)

Trust me, American leaders will be shred to pieces in 75% of the world countries. Not the smartest and most prosperous of all, but still. Ahmadinejad has a point there.
