Mistakes made over 'The Interview' response

Watch "Fareed Zakaria GPS," Sundays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on CNN

By Fareed Zakaria

Why does a terrorist threat from North Korea produce appeasement and indifference whereas threats from Islamic terrorists produce courage, and defiance, and resilience? I suspect that it's because we are fully aware of the barbarism of Jihadi terrorists.

But we tend to think of North Korea in somewhat comical terms – the odd dictators with their strange haircuts, the weird synchronized mass-adulation in stadiums, the retro-propaganda and rhetoric.

In fact, North Korea is one of the world's most repressive and brutal dictatorships. Estimates are that it allowed one to two million of its own people to starve in a famine in the 1990s. The United Nations says that North Korea abducted thousands of people from neighboring countries following the Korean War and currently imprisons about 100,000 people in brutal labor camps. That statistic comes from a U.N. panel commissioned to investigate the human rights situation in North Korea. Its report, released in February, paints a picture of a regime that really has no parallel in the scale of its cruelty and oppression.

The challenge that movie studios and theaters face is real because they have to balance the issue of freedom of expression with safety and commerce.

But they have made a mistake.

Kim Jong Un is a saint compared to Modi of India.

Untermensch Butcher of Gujarat Terrorist Narendra Modi of India was disinvited by Wharton Business School to attend an economic forum in USA. Hindus are furious but a terrorist is a terrorist and the world recognizes Modi as such.

Modi was responsible for the massacre of thousands in India.

He needs to be dragged to ICJ The Hague and face trial just like Milosevic.

There is nothing more I detest than a vicious murdering genocidalist like Modi. How can reasonable people elect him as a leader. Shame on India. Shame on North Korea.

Ridiculing as an instrument to implementing foreign policy is admiting to the failure of using force. There are far more better caricatures that Kim of NK. Modi of India comes to mind and the array of hindoo gods with multiple hands, heads and organs. LOL hindooism is itself a Comedy of Terrors.

North Korea is genocide nation to the world and that is made clear by its stand and its actions. It is irony that
Millions of there own people are kept in starvation, forced Jaill camps. They are worst then ISIS as there power structure and obedience makes people to suffer and people are simply suffering with no world support due to China..........

    PAKISTAN !!!!

THANK YOU …. THANK YOU…. THANK YOU!!!!

FOR MAKING USA SAFE FOR MAKING THE WORLD SAFE>>>>>>>>>>>>

Since Sep 11, 2001, over 200,000 Pakistani civilians, armed forces personnel have either sacrificed their lives or wounded; more than 3.5 million have been displaced while the country has lost over US $ 1 TRILLION due to terrorism.

Despite sacrifices, Pakistan was still engaged in 'the war for world peace”.

No other country has even come close to selflessly sacrificing so much.

Pakistan, no one can ever repay you enough for your contributions.

You deserve a permanent seat in the UN Security Council for your contributions to world peace and emergence of a new world order. We welcome your rise as the new regional military power. God Speed.

@Blue Saffron ... Listen to me and I shall impart you some religion.

Pakistan is a David among Goliaths. A reservoir of talent, an ocean deep with culture, a nation so very civilized and democratic and vibrant. A country so dignified. People so very rich with god's bounties. Even the neighbors look at it with envy and want to replicate its success. Just look at this forum. Most of the trolls are Indians. Where would you find so much love and concern except from neighborly India.

Now please don't confuse me with Blue Saffron. I am SAPPHIRE. But both are precious commodities and believe in international law. The resemblance ends there.

Suffice to say that the violence in Indian-held Kashmir is the result of decades of repressive Indian policies and imposition of sham elections in the region.

We call upon India to understand that the people of Jammu and Kashmir would accept nothing short of their right to self-determination as promised to them by the UNSC and accepted by India and the international community.

It is true that Himmler The Nazi Butcher of Jews and architect of Holocaust always kept a copy of the Bhagavad Gita (hindoo holy book) in his pocket and read passages from it every night.

Based on this statement, one can assume that perhaps Himmler viewed Hitler as a manifestation of hindoo god Krishna and himself as Arjuna. The ensuing Jewish Holocaust is well known to all with Hindooism providing the inspiration.

Our Indian janitor appropriately described the societal fabric in his Indian hometown in Kerala. He says, Shahib India like rattlesnake den. Vicious people and very backward. He further goes on to bewilder us by this narration.

Chattisgarh, India is among states which have a culture of stripping women naked, forcing her to march naked on village streets while she's being beaten, assaulted, kicked and sometimes burnt to death. Usually, in such incidents women are accused of being a tonhi who's involved in witchcraft and black magic practices. This was first such case when a woman was targeted for having an extra marital affair.

A woman was marched naked, beaten and assaulted on streets in Jashpur's Farsabahar area on Saturday night.
