Blasphemy and the law of fanatics

By Fareed Zakaria

When governments try to curry favor with fanatics, eventually the fanatics take the law into their own hands. In Pakistan, jihadis have killed dozens of people whom they accuse of blasphemy, including a brave politician,Salmaan Taseer, who dared to call the blasphemy law a “black law.”

We should fight the Paris terrorists. But we should also fight the source of the problem. It’s not enough for Muslim leaders to condemn people who kill those they consider as blasphemers if their own governments endorse the idea of punishing blasphemy at the very same time. The U.S. religious freedom commission and the U.N. Human Rights Committee have both declared that blasphemy laws violate universal human rights because they violate freedom of speech and expression. They are correct.

The CIA created ISIS and Al Qaeda. They are being funded until today by them. ErDOGan of Turkey is letting all these killers into Syria and Iraq, giving them food, clothes and weapons. ErDOGan gave direct instructions to border security not to inspect any trucks going into Syria.
Malaysia Airlines MH 17 was shot down by Kiev and not by the Russian Freedom Fighters. Malaysia Airline MH370 was shot down by the US navy in Thai waters and mislead the world about its whereabouts. The US is the number one terrorism sponsor state in the world. Obama, erDOGan and Netanyahu are the top 3 killers in the universe.

That's exactly right. And "Boko Haram" is in fact a covert CIA operation going on right now in Nigeria.

I support two misfortunate youngsters in Africa right now. Agboola in Nigeria, whom I love and am setting-up in business. And me precious Mukazi from Uganda whom I love and adore from far away.

I have been generous with American youth as well. Like my "son" Michael. Who's mom was a crack hoe. I told him No! Do NOT join with the US army. But he would not listen to me and is now dead. RIP Michael.

The relationship described by @ Phiip, or by a troll of his, is a beautiful one.
By coincidence, I awoke a few minutes ago remembering one of the mentors who did for me what my jealous and mentally ill parents could not do.
Every day I have to thwart opinions of myself instilled by those sickies. When I displayed extraordinary talent at the age of three, my father tried to kill me.
I had three teachers between mu eleventh and twentieth birthdays who helped me begin to overcome my parents' destruction.
    @ Philip, good job!

So common is familial abuse these days an nationwide depression epidemic erupted because of it. Adult Survivors, we are called. We are far from being alone, Joey. Though most just keep their family secrets, lie at funerals, and enjoy many family reunions.
Helping a young person struggle along life's ways is very rewarding. I get so much out of it, and recommend helping strangers as the best form of therapy out there.

A child born into a Nussbaum-Steinberg type of household is usually too frightened to tell anyone who might be able to help.
My position now is, "I will tell the world."
I was in my late forties before I could break with my parents completely.
A primary cause of my inability to separate completely from my parents was the advice of psychiatrists and psychologists to mend the relationships between my violently abusive parents and me. I paid those guys and girls a fortune over a period of more than forty years. Sometimes I do things that only a stupid guy would do.

I hear you Joey. It took me till I was 50 to let go of my dysfunctional family. And I have no idea why therapists want their patients to mend relationships with back asswards family members. Or why Focus on the Family even exists.

Did you know that right now there are 29 men and women who used to work for the FBI and Department of Defense that are STILL under Bush-era federal gag orders preventing them from going public with the names of the men the FBI found to have financed 9/11? That Obama refuses to have those gag orders lifted? No, you didn't know that because you get your news from official sources that are government approved.

The more I read this blog the more aware I become how CNN and Fareed are taking the Americans for a ride.
First, this blog is listed as one of the most popular. Really? LOL. 22 pages of trash by a couple of jobless trolls. You want me to name them? Next.

The heading of this blog gives me the creeps. It is like a bad dream. Pure nonsense. Fareed behaving like a v irgin. Give me a break. Don't forget where you come from, Fareed. Where cows have more rights than humans. He should be put to the pasture and all these blogs shut down.

Freedom of expression.... My a zz. You can't post a comment here with f ukk spelt properly.
Here is what I think of CNN, Fareed and the trolls. F UKK YA'LL.

      Want to bet?

      Fuck.

You invented nothing but an overbloated, unearned ego.

The 1st Amendment prohibits the government from retaliation against free speech.

CNN can do any damned thing they want, as it is a privately held company; including the word filters that WP employs.

If you don't know this basic tenet if the 1st Amendment, you aren't qualified to bloviate about anything.

      Just stop it.
