New York, New York, is, uh, changing.
When I was a teenager in Mississippi, I knew that out there in the real word I would need to speak at least two languages, English and French, to do well. Working in opera, I had to learn Italian, as many Italian singers did not speak English when they first moved to America, and I wanted to work well with them.
Now, New Yorkers must frequently speak Spanish, or its DR derivative, to get along in Manhattan.
I do not believe that many New Yorkers will speak English - any form of real English - or French fifty years from now.

    OTC stomach medication?
Individually wasteful, as with enough war-on-poverty education on applications, costly prescription drugs are as free as wine and circuses were when Brutus could speak.
Who in this forum remembers when 36 American dollars got you an ounce of gold?

I have renewed one of my comments above, and I apologize to the Group and to the Environment, our (only) Eart.
My sin: gold is not a People-Metal. It was rude of me to suggest the desirability of gold.

Oh? I like gold. Especially a golden necklace on a woman while making love on dim light.

I have never owned a Confederate flag, and I would not display one.
However, no one living in a country where a flag cannot be displayed or distributed has true freedom.

Then there is the swastika to ban or not to ban.
For a couple of days now, the Star of David has reminded me of burning Gaza children and Proud-yet-stabbed gay persons in Pales–oops, Israel. I haven't heard much about banning the Star of David. In my town, that's a pretty popular ornament...hey, to the gold fetishist who posted here recently, how about the girl has a gold Star of David, hanging from her neck, sideways, while you...yeah, but she's really a guy, but you don't know, like. And in the dark, I think you said.

Reporting the Clintons' income may cause some unsuccessful USA citizens and foreign guests to vote for another presidential candidate.
I support Mrs. Clinton's campaign, in part, because she is successful. We need presidents who fully comprehend economics.
If I voted for Donald Trump, it would be because he is very successful. Success, however, is not enough,
I fully support Mrs. Clinton: she has all of the qualities required for a successful presidency.

I'm more forgiving of Hillary Clinton since she called for an end to the cursed embargo against Cuba. She also called for the GOP to either get on board or out of the way. In fact, the only favor the Republicans can do for this country is simply to get out of office and just disappear altogether!

Obviously, I, Joey, did not write that anti-Republican foolishness: I am a Republican.
I shall support candidates from other parties until my own, economically realistic party moves into the current social model.
