I think it is undemocratice the Bill and Melinda Gates' money have given them such a powerful policy voice. With all due respect, because he invented a tech product, how does that transfer to knowledge suitable for public policy? How is this any different from autocratic regimes America criticizes? Because they bought their big voice? So did oligarchs and dynasties in other places. Btwo Melinda Fates' grammar could surely use some sharpening (e.g. Fewer not less students, graduate from high school not graduate high school).

Agreed. But one can argue that @Blue Saffron had none of those assets yet became very influential using the same technology that you quote. Just a contrarian reflection through the prism.

The good news is that Butcher of Gujarat Terrorist Narendra Modi of India was disinvited by Wharton Business School to attend an economic forum in USA. Hindus are furious but a terrorist is a terrorist and the world recognizes Modi as such.

The problem in India is that national and local politics are controlled by Hindu fanatical groups such as Shiv Sena which are akin to KKK. These are extremist groups with a neo nazi bent And hindutva agenda. They are anti minorities and anti foreigners. They have been massacring and raping the Sikhs and bulldozing their temples. Hope the young generation of Sikhs tracks those responsible down and bring them to justice.

Bloodthirsty Kali is worshipped openly the length and breadth of India. Kali's statue stands naked astride the inanimate body of the Hindu deity Shiva, tongue stuck out with blood dripping from fang-like teeth. She holds a noose, a skull-topped staff, a blood-encrusted sword and a severed head. She is also known as Durga, Devi, Shaktima, Uma and Parvathi in other manifestations.

The priest of Delhi, Kali Bari, says that a child sacrificed to Kali ensures a man the birth of a son. Human sacrifices are also made to these gods or goddesses, either to appease them or to ask favours of them.
