On GPS Sunday: ‘Beyond the Manhunts’

‘Beyond the Manhunts: How to Stop Terror’ – a GPS special premieres this Sunday at 10 a.m. & 1 p.m. ET

On GPS this Sunday: ‘Beyond the Manhunts: How to Stop Terror’ – an in-depth look at how U.S. intelligence is working at home and abroad.

Fareed explores a number of key issues: The hunt for Osama bin Laden, the state of al Qaeda, the morality of drone strikes, and the threat of lone wolves striking the U.S. homeland. Expert voices include former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta, former CIA and NSA Director Michael Hayden, and former CIA Counter-terrorism chief Robert Grenier.

“It's very easy, when you get out on that slippery slope, to say…well here we are, we shouldn't just be focusing only on the international terrorists,” Grenier says. “What about the people who are supporting them? But when we take the next step and we start attacking them as an affiliated group, as though they were international terrorists themselves, we’re inviting a lot of trouble.”

I don't believe crooks have rights. Only rights to a trial. If we can gain incite to what the crooks are doing by eavesdropping, it is alright. We might have a penalty for officers that are eavesdropping and do wrong. We give too much freedom to crooks that are trying to do us harm.

This phoney "War On Terror" will lead us right into our own destruction. 9/11 was terror perpetrated by Bush and Co. to keep us in a conflict with the Muslim World and in endless wars .
Our gold is most likely all gone from Fort Knox. Ron Paul wanted the Congress to check on it, but it was never done and the CBC film on you tube " The Secret World of Gold " explains why-no wonder it is not shown , but should be , on prime TV channels. The oligarchs running this country are running scared.

It's amazing to see us (America) spend so much money, time and intelligence on stopping the "terror" and blaming everything under the sun (they hate us for our freedom, it's Islam against Christianity so on and so forth) when the answer is very clear but our government decides to ignore it.
The simple answer is: We (America) need to stop our blind and biased support for the state of Israel, we need to stop fighting Israel's wars (Iraq and soon Iran). We need to start condemning Israel just like we condemn every other Country in the World that commits atrocities, apartheid, ethnic cleansing. We need to withdraw our "permanent veto" in the UN that protects Israel regardless of the crime.
When Iraq is invaded, destroyed because they supposedly violated ONE UN resolution (inspection for WMD, WMD that was validated by Israel's fake intelligence) yet Israel has violated over 255 UN resolutions since 1948 but is free to continue violating more UN resolutions. When Iran is suppressed and sanctioned to death due to another fake intelligence from Israel regarding nukes yet Israel possesses over 200 nuclear heads but is allowed to continue developing them. When Israel is allowed to attack unilaterally ANY country (Iraq, Syria, Lebanon etc) based on lies and is never condemned. when we allow Israel to continue butchering Palestinians while stealing more lands and squeezing them into camps walled in like prisons, we will never know peace.
The ONLY solution for peace is for America to cut off the umbilical cord off Israel and let the World know we will criticize, condemn and hold Israel accountable for their crimes like we do any other Country.

I keep hoping you will get tired of participating in the propaganda, but alas, two examples today. 1. No al Qaeda connections in Libya or Egypt? OOPS! I know you haven't been away for the last 18 months. Maybe it's short term memory loss. It seems to be catching. 2, 17 killed by domestic terrorism? 33 is more like it. Please challenge obviously bogus figures. Political correctness is going to get us all killed.

It's important to correct the ill-intent of these mass murderers. If they have a problem with the authorities, that's fine, but don't let innocent folks pay for it.
