On GPS Sunday: Analysis on Ukraine, and assessing women's changing role in society

Watch "Fareed Zakaria GPS," Sundays at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. ET on CNN

On GPS this Sunday: A special live show, with the latest developments on Ukraine – including opinion from leading European officials – and Fareed’s take on the Obama administration’s response to Russia’s annexation of Crimea.

Also on the show, the New Yorker’s Evan Osnos will look at China’s response to missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 and what the search says about that country’s strengths and weaknesses.

Later on the show, Fareed explores the issue of women in power and convenes a panel of top commentators including Tina Brown, founder of the Women in the World Summit, Arianna Huffington, editor-in-chief of the Huffington Post and the new book Thrive, Steven Pinker, author of The Better Angels of Our Nature, and Joseph Nye, a professor at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard.

“If you think of the first women's revolution being getting the vote, the second being giving us access to all the corridors of power…the third one is changing the workplace,” Huffington says. “[C]hanging the world in which women are competing, which I believe is going to be the fastest way to get more women at the top. Because right now, women are paying a heavier price in stressful jobs. The data that came out last year is unequivocal, that women in stressful jobs have a 30 percent greater threat of heart disease and a 60 percent greater risk of diabetes.”

I thought this is a relevant quote from a lecture given by Yogi Bhajan, "A woman who knows how to save her grace can always uplift humanity. The next sentence shall be scripture: Humanity, in its dignity and divinity, lives because of the graceful woman. I am not talking about the humanity who boozes, the gamblers, the thieves. They are humanity, too, but that humanity is a polarity. I am talking of the divine sect of the humanity that lives; whatever is left out is because of the grace of the woman. I said once before, and I say again today, there shall be no peace on Earth if those born of woman do not recognize the divinity of the woman."
