From the archive: Interviewing activist radical Anjem Choudary
Have you ever met a jihadi? It's easier to find them in London than in New York. Indeed, earlier last decade, London was sometimes dubbed Londonistan, the origins of which were obvious. Fareed met activist radical Anjem Choudary when he was filming in London in July 2010. Choudary was reported by The Guardian to have been detained on Friday by British law enforcement for allegedly "encouraging terrorism".

I am really surprised by the answers of this guy. cant believe, he is openly supporting extremism and still runs free in UK.
Because of a little something called "Free Speech". It comes both with the good and the bad. I do not condone what that man is trying to advocate, but he certainly has every right to say it.
A moslem speaks his mind it is called extremism. Others speak their mind it is called frredom of speech. I will take a moslem over any other cult. They are dignified brave people trying to show the mirror to the hypocrisies of the world.

Since you have not responded let me present a quote to you as an appetizer.

Aside from above, some of these jew bashing Gandhi's letters to Hitler are archived in Library of Congress in Washington DC.

@Aberration In the same vein as you are spewing out hate comments, most of which are completely tangential to the interview being discussed here, I'd also like to get your comment on the tone of the person being interview by Fareed and if you think that is inciting hate and acts of violence?
There is radicalism in every religion but I think you are going too far to put labels on a entire religion which is rather immature and shows a lack of deeper understand of the subject. Gandhi was shot by a radical Hindu because he was viewed as looking out more for the interests of muslims than hindu, so once again, get your facts right. He tried harder than anyone else to convince Mr Jinnah to not part away from India. (I don't expect you to accept these claims, but you seem to have closed off yourself from any 'real facts' contrary to what you believe through hearsay and controversial theories). Clearly, since you also know so little about India, let me tell you that more muslims live in India than any other country in the world, muslims hold high offices in every portfolio of the government, run successful businesses and are integral to what India is. So I'd ask you to shun the tone of hatred for a bit and take a more holistic view of things – especially something as vast as religion, and may be travel the world a little bit to tone your hatred down and know that the world is complex and not a zero-sum game.

I appreciate it, but I don't think I need advise from you for how I should feel about my religion and who I am. I respect you for who you are and the religion you were born into, and I'd expect you to do the same.

Recall there have been massacres by hindus of minorities throughout India's history. In Kashmir, Gujarat, Assam, Punjab. In the Golden Temple in Amritsar, India thousands of Sikh worshippers were gunned down by India's Hindu Army. An American Federal Court Judge has issued arrest warrants for Manmohan Singh and Sonia Gandhi for their roles in this massacre of Sikhs.
What do we call this? Moderation? How come Fareed Zakaria does not talk about it? His bosses won't let him at CNN? I would like to know the ethnic mix of these bosses. We know that Fareed is of India origin. Figures.

Hate is a strong word that should not be used loosely. Anjem answers all the questions posed to him logically. He overshadows his interviewer in intellect.

You should go see the statue of Crazy Horse being built into the mountains in South Dakota. It is absolutely beautiful. Indians are great people.
Moslems personify the love for fellow human beings and women. Just look at Taj Mahal. It was built by a moslem for his wife. To date no other person in this world has done so no matter how rich.
Adolf Hitler died in 1945; I believe this. As he was born in 1889, no matter what conspiracy obscures the actual date of his death, there can be little validity to theories that Hitler is still alive.
Therefore, Hitler cannot be responsible for the behaviour of citizens of India, and for the deeds of those of Indian heritage, today, be those Indians either Hindu orMoslim.

I once loved London.
Decades ago, after working there for several months, I wanted to live in London, largely because of the way its residents behaved on the street, in stores, and at my hotel.
I would no longer reside in London. Perhaps, on that charming road that leads to Oxford, but probably not even there.
I was only ever in London one time. And that was just because of a layover. My experience with Londoners begs the question; are Londonian jihadiats snooty.

The English residents of London, of course, are still extremely polite. The immigrants are not.

Hitler & Co. can easily be the model followed by corporate fascists, though. And boys rayped by Parrish priests...how after being medicated for some time suffer brain damage and weight gain. And not too rarely, perpetrators of mass murders.
For example The Aurora Theater shooter was such a man on meds. Yet, Hitler's theater was all of Europe and parts of Russia. Not just one movie theater.
Philip, many bad things might be said about Germany as it was during World War II, but I doubt that many, if any, men can truthfully state that they were, as boys, molested by the highly disciplined soldiers under Hitler's command.
@Aberration. The quotation about Gandhi is clearly a claim of character assassination – you and I both know it. I also wonder why you quote that when asked for facts about hindu hatred because its irrelevant to the issue being discussed. Also, saying "It's no secret" is not a very convincing presentation of facts for substantiating one's position. If those letters are in the library of congress why haven't they been exposed until now.
And finally, perhaps this letter may prove as an example of what I meant when I asked for facts and it proves the opposite of what you are claiming.
