An old farmer is inconsolable after his dog goes missing. He takes out an ad in the newspaper, but two weeks later, there’s still no sign of the mutt. “What did you write in the ad?” his wife asks. “ ‘Here, boy,’ ” he replies.

Question for any of you older wise women here. If a young man were to get his girlfriend pregnant and she decided she wanted an abortion and was going to go get one, what could that young man do to stop her? And would that young man be guilty in any way of her killing her own baby?

Yes. It would be his fault and he would be guilty for not stopping her.

A panda walks into a bar and gobbles some beer nuts. Then he pulls out a gun, fires it in the air, and heads for the door. “Hey!” shouts the bartender, but the panda yells back, “I’m a panda. Google me!” Sure enough, panda: “A tree-climbing mammal with distinct black-and-white coloring. Eats shoots and leaves.”

A Frenchman walks into a bar with a parrot on his shoulder. The bird is wearing a baseball cap. The bartender says, “Hey, that’s neat. Where did you get that?”

A burglar breaks into a house. He starts shining his light around looking for valuables. Some nice things catch his eye, and as he reaches for them, he hears, “Jesus is watching you.” Startled, the burglar looks for the speaker. Seeing no one, he keeps putting things in his bag, again, he hears, “Jesus is watching you.” This time, he sees a parrot.

“Who are you?” the burglar asks.

    “Moses,” the bird replied.

“Who the heck would name a bird Moses?” the man laughed.

“I dunno,” Moses answered, “I guess the same kind of people that would name a Rottweiler Jesus.”

I don't know why so many people do not use their real names online. I suppose it's because they don't like their real name? Ashamed of it or simply do not want anyone to know that it was them that said such stupid and/or horrible things. "Cowards" they are called.

    January 25, 2015 at 12:25 pm |

Now. I know little girls like to use pretend names as they live in their Hello Kitty world. But grown men and women? Makes no sense at all.

If you think Joey Isotta-Fraschini is his real name, you are absolutely bereft of any intelligence.

He originally appeared as just Joey. He added the Isotta-Fraschini later.

An Isotta Fraschini is an Italian luxury car, which I commented on at the time he started using it. He said he knew I would get the joke.

Remember Silver Wraith? That was JIF, also. Another joke I got, but apparently you didn't.

My goodness, and you make fun of me?

WikiLeaks has released a classified US military video depicting the indiscriminate slaying of over a dozen people in the Iraqi suburb of New Baghdad — including two Reuters news staff. Reuters has been trying to obtain the video through the Freedom of Information Act, without success since the time of the attack. The video, shot from an Apache helicopter gun-sight, clearly shows the unprovoked slaying of a wounded Reuters employee and his rescuers. Two young children involved in the rescue were also seriously wounded.

I used to gamble for a living when I was younger. From hustling "pro" 9-ball players after ESPN televised tournaments at the Cue Club in Las Vegas to gladly relieving vacationers of their monies playing Texas Hold Em at the old Showboat casino. I also bet on horse races at Sport of Kings and on baseball and football games everywhere and did quite well. But that was before league officials fought-for and won the legal right to fix games. You couldn't get me to bet on any pro sport in the USA now. They are all fixed events.

Donna Banas aka "banasy" accused me of being guilty of killing three unborn prospective Americans just because women I got pregnant when I was a young man went and had those unborn living human fetus' killed.
I would like the chance to defend myself, but Donna just keeps on at me. And refuses to seriously debate this.

I don't see a need to debate someone who is rabidly Pro-Life, demeans women everywhere, talks big talk about men's roles in women's choices, and then avails himself to the very thing he has condemned other men and women of doing.

If you had not portrayed yourself as holier-than-thou, you wouldn't be tap dancing right now to justify your own shitty choices.

I am pro-choice. And I don't condemn people that have to make that awful choice.

You do, and when you are caught by your own words, you continue to attack me, as if I had any part OF your choice.

This is the problem with people like you; your inability to see that you, yourself condemn people just like you!

      So, save it.

There's no debate; you prattle on about others, when you have done the sane thing yourself.

I fully expect you to change the subject again, such as your ridiculous assumptions about what I have taught my children; you are in no position to know, and you never will be!

You're a bloody hypocrite. Admit that you are, apologize, and move the hell on.

You made false accusations against me Donna. Claiming I was guilty of my girlfriends getting abortions. And rather than explaining just how it is that I am guilty you just go on blabbing.
        You really suck.

        January 25, 2015 at 1:09 pm |
      • banasy©

No, I an pointing out your hypocrisy; if you had full knowledge that your girlfriends were getting abortions (which is obvious, being as you have spoken of them), you really, really Need to get off your judgemental high horse about others who have had to make the same choice.

There is no accusation in the truth. Only in the hypocrisy in your condemnation of the same people who experienced what you have gone through.

You can get all fire and brimstone old-timey preacher outraged with your "You made false accusations against me Donna. Claiming I was guilty of my girlfriends getting abortions.", but the fact remains, you yourself have proclaimed men to be guilty of killing their offspring if they knew an abortion was going to occur, and throwing your own words back in your faux-pious face isn't "sucking", it's just a reflection of your own bullshit you have vomited over the years.

Just stop it. Let it go. You constantly bringing up your own words as of it were somehow my fault is disingenuous at best, and monumentally dishonest at worst.

Truly, I do not care that you and your gf's aborted. I really don't. It's a choice that was made; it's the hypocritical desire to take away from others what you once took full advantage of just because you're older is what illustrates how dumb you sound when you decide to get on your metaphorical soapbox.

And if your gf's sucked, the whole topic of your past would be moot.
